Hey Friends! 

So it is almost Christmas! My favourite time of year and the most festive! Fortunately my Christmas is not as cold as some of yours might be. But that is not what this is about.. if you read my last post then you would have found out I have a huge recent obsession for make-up and want to try anything and everything! I was spoilt with MAC a few months ago and ever since then I have been absolutely addicted. 

I got an early Christmas present a few days ago and couldn't resist opening it. It was another spoil of MAC and I now have a growing collection. These are my thoughts on the products that I do own and maybe you could give me some suggestions and recommendations. 

Starting with eyes:

I'm trying really hard to keep my post frequent but it's proving to be quite hard however I have some awesome stuff coming. 

I have recently found a new love for make-up. Ever since I was spoilt with a couple MAC products, I have started experimenting with different brands and brushes and lipsticks. I have decided to show you what I've discovered and what I think about them. 

I have organised all my make-up in different places and orders and my brushes in a tin pot that sits on my dressing table. 

I have a multitude of brushes, from drugstores, from MAC and from department stores. My three newest ones are from RedSquare which in South Africa is part of Edgars. If you live somewhere else, check out your favourite Drugstore for soft brushes. 

Okay, so I know my make-up draw looks like a mess but everything has a place and I plan on getting a new dressing table in the next couple months. 

Starting off with brushes. I got 3 new ones. 



One is a little concealer brush, for those pesky spots.

This is a lipstick brush to make my red lips extra bullet proof. Check out Lisa Eldridge for that tutorial. 

This is crease brush. This is really useful for smokey eyes and getting pretty colours in your crease. These need to be really fluffy!

Next I went to my favourite drugstore and picked up some foundation and concealer. I really like the Revlon colorstay collection. It stays well and the only thing is you need powder over it to keep from being oily.

After this I was spoiled with bronzing powder from The Body Shop. This sets my make-up and adds some colour to my face. My shade is in Fair Matte.

New eye shadows were both drugstore purchases which are really good. One was a Revlon colorstay Palette that is for a purple smokey eye. 


This palette is called Precocious or 510. I want to use this with  beautiful berry lipstick.

My other eye shadow is a NYX single eye shadow. I use this as a second colour to create a gold/brown smokey eye. This shade is in Root Beer.

I'm unable to find this shade but there are many similar options. 

Onto eye liner and mascara. Lancôme were very kind to give me a gift with purchase and I received a khol eye liner in shade 01 noir. This is a very nice pencil eye liner, brilliant for smudging and super soft to apply.

Another gift from Lancôme was a mascara. It is called Hypnôse Doll eyes and has an awesome applicator. This is in the shade so black! 



I am excited about the next product! It is the new Rimmel Argan Oil mascara. I read up about Argan oil and it has some amazing moisturising properties. I am really excited about this and can't wait to try it! This shade is in 001 black but another one has been released called Extreme Black.

The last thing I have recently started loving is Lipstick. I was never a huge lipstick fan until I discovered MAC and I've loved trying new shades. My newest MAC shade is Hue. This is a really nice summer and nude colour for summer in South Africa.

My second lipstick purchase was a Lancôme purchase. It is a beautiful berry shade for colder days and winter, this is the one that will go very nicely with my Revlon eye shadow palette. This is in the shade 131 Pense à Moi, part of the L'Absolu Rouge range. 





The third lipstick I got was also from Lancôme and it is a beautiful bright red that is perfect for dinner parties and dates. It is from the Rouge in Love range and is in 181N Rouge St Honoré. 





That is all my new make-up collection. I am definitely going to expand it even more and become even better. If you have found any amazing products recently please let me know.

Hey Friends, 

I'm sorry I haven't posted in ages, I hope you guys remembered to check out the blog once in a while. I have been really busy with school, but I'm back and a super exciting blog post! 

Over the weekend, I went to a wedding with my boyfriend and his family and his mom spoilt me to an appointment at MAC to have my make - up done. I loved it so much that I decided to get myself some products which I am absolutely crazy about! MAC is such a stunning brand and it really makes you feel like a $1 000 000! I wore a stunning dress from ZARA that was multicoloured with Pineapple print on it, it was super cute! I also wore a beautiful pair of Aldo heels that were black suede and were really comfortable.

Hey Friends! 

So if you've read previous blogposts of mine then you will know that I live in South Africa and don't have all the cool stores that you get overseas, including Boots. I came to Dubai with a little shopping list and a couple of the things on there were things I've heard of from the youtubers I watch, things from Boots. So I went and had a lot of fun! 

I don't get any of the Soap & Glory products in South Africa so when I was able to get them here, I was so excited! I haven't used any of the products yet except the Garnier BB cream and I really like it. I haven't used BB creams before but I am quite enjoying this one. I am having a bit of a tough time with my skin at the moment and I am so excited to see that it is clearing up but I did invest in the Tea Tree collection to maintain my good skin condition. I can't wait to use my Soap & Glory products!

Hey Friends! 

Whenever I pack for this awesome place (Dubai, if you missed my last blog post) I think of my Dubai Essentials. These could include clothing items, make-up, toiletries or anything girlie. 

Please don't think I am super-woman for one second and think I don't use any other bikinis or make-up products because I so do, and if you'd like me to write about that, please let me know. 

One of my no.1 things I pack when going anywhere; a friends' house, a hotel, holiday, whatever it may be is my Skin Clearing Lotion from The Body Shop. It rules! It can be used as a moisturiser or to rid those pesky spots. When I have really bad days, I usually use it as a moisturiser.

Little something about myself; my mom lives in Dubai but I live in South Africa. Yes, it is hard but I get DUBAI as a second home. I absolutely love coming to Dubai because it is sunny always and you can shop til you drop! I love taking pictures so I have decided to create a blog about my adventures and interests, hoping someone else will be interested too.
