Hey Friends!
Merry Christmas!!! 🎅
And a Happy New Year!!! 🎉
It has been almost a month since I posted last and I have so much to tell you!
This post however is about the road trip my family and I took to the Cape at the beginning of the December holidays before we jetted off to Dubai for Christmas and New Year... Stay posted for my Dubai post and Video, coming soon!
It took us two days to drive from Johannesburg to Cape Town. We stopped over at a stop over town called Colesberg, known for their B&B hospitality and their brilliant stop over accommodation. We then drove to Cape Town City, Hout Bay to be exact, which if any of you have been to Cape Town you'll know it's the best city in the world! It is incredibly Vibey for young people like ourselves and it is just so beautiful!

We stayed in a beautiful house which belongs to a family friend of ours that is a Terracotta Plaster and it very bohemian. It is so stunning!
Morning Tea on the balcony. Overlooking the mountains.
We then traveled to the little town of Tulbagh, which is a tiny wine town about an hour and a half north of Cape Town. It isn't on the coast but is known for its spectacular wine, which made my parents very happy!
In Tulbagh we stayed at a very famous and successful wine farm called Rijks. It is this incredible Wine Farm of about 67 Acres of land full of vineyards. We stayed in one of their family cottages and walked into town every night to find dinner somewhere new.

At Rijks there were the most beautiful sunsets and vineyards and pretty detail we only dream of living in.

It is so beautiful and tranquil for a weekend away! We also visited a olive farm that I will write about in the next post.
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and will have an exciting New Year. I have a lot happening in the new year so stay tuned and go subscribe to my YouTube Channel: Soph Schultze
